Each month one of our artists will share three different cards that use the current layout. Each card is a "step up" from the previous one, but they are all fabulous. It is a good way to show how SheetLoad is geared toward papercrafters of all levels.
Here are some sneak peeks to whet your appetite...
Since I don't have any pictures of leaves today, i'll share a fall project I created recently. I just love using stamps and embossing powder on other mediums besides paper. I painted a trio of pumpkins i picked up last year and stamped on them with Versamark ink and dusted with Antique Gold embossing powder; then i just added the sentiment. Very simple, but it's such a great affect!
It is time for the monthly Sponsor Spotlight at SheetLoad of Cards!! This month's featured company is DRS Designs; the sponsor for the October '09 issue.

Here's another card featured in this month's SheetLoad. You know you don't HAVE to stick with a literal interpretation of the sketch? I know, who knew!!! A sketch is designed to give you inspriation. I loved the background paper so much I didn't want to cover it up, so I lieu of covering it up I replaced one of the sketch elements with a circle of brads. To see a full list of supplies go check out the September issue of SheetLoad.

I have to start out with my favorite project using this month's SheetLoad skecth along with JessicaLynn Originals stamps. The stamp I have used here is digi stamp so I could make the image nice and large. I have to say the picture just doesn't do this justice....maybe I need to take a photography class. This photo in the layout is from several years ago and I just never had the right paper or embelishments to go with it, but this just worked perfectly!

The kids are just sitting on the deck waiting for me to finish making their lunch. It was the neatest moment to just see them content, talking and hanging out together; no fussing, no fighting and no drama.
So i'm usually the one behind the camera, but here I let Douglas take the shot. Can't you just smell the sunscreen and chlorine? :)

The kids are back in school and we've almost got the first two weeks under out belt; woo hoo! 1st & 7th grade... my how time flies. Her smile is just too cute for words, with that wiggly top front tooth that she just can't stomach to keep wiggling because it hurts. Don't mistake the 7 fingers for gang signs. It took me a minute to make the connection, he's just so excited to start the 7th grade! Ahh just look at that afro! TTFN

Some April showers would be so nice right now. Kansas is just so blazing hot in July! April Showers is the name of this adorable image from Squigglefly and is my last card from the July SheetLoad. I drew my color pallete from the pattern paper; such a fun combination. For full details be sure to check out the July issue of SheetLoad.
