Working my fingers to the bone

So I signed up to sell items at the upcoming Santa's workshop at the elementary school. Items can be new or handmade. I have known for a while, but didn't really get going until this week. Did I mention it this Friday, Dec 3? AHAHAH!!!! So I haven't had much time for the bloggoroonie. I thought i'd share what I whipped up today.
What do you think of this beauty? I have to say that I am thrilled with the way it turned out. Thanks to my friend Alicia, who let me know that Hobby Lobby had raw perpetual calendars in the unfinished wood area! It had a wood anchor attached to the top, but I pried it off.
I painted it two colors from some old Making Memories paint. Let me tell you that stuff is great! One coat and it's done!
I pulled out some Basic Grey paper,Calendar Basics PTI stamp set and foam numbers I got at a CK convention a couple of years ago and voila!
What do you think? Hubby can't get over how cool it is and says he wants to buy it for one of his work wives. ;) I told him if it doesn't sell at Santa's workshop. More to share on my creations, but this elf has to get back to work.
