I used Day at the Beach by Papertrey Ink with their Smokey Grey ink and CTMH Citris. I also thought it was genious to use some glitter at on the rim of the glasses to simulate the "salt" of a margarita. Just in case you are wondering to pull of the three glasses I stamped the glass twice on a post it note to create my own mask. This allowed me to get the appearance of two glasses is the background.

Cheers to you!
Ok I have to say that every so often I get impressed with myself and this card is one of them. It's so simple, but I just love it!! I created this card for my friend Amy's birthday.

Happy Easter
So here is the card I made and sent to several family members for Easter. It is so amazing that "God gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall have everlasting life" John 3:16.
I pulled out an oldie but goodie here -Stamps by Judith. The card is based on the Sketch 48 Bonus Sketch from 2Sketches4You.
The Judith stamps are the basket, easter eggs and butterfly. I also used Mega Mixed Messages for the sentiment on the front and Everyday Blessings for the sentiment on the inside; both by Papertrey Ink. I tried a new technique for creating grass my friends Melissa & Alicia learned at a Copic class. It turned out not too bad.
I'd also like to point out the glittering easter eggs below the card. I made those! I found a container of 8 wooden eggs at Hobby Lobby for 50% off. I then painted them (several coats ugh!) and then glittered them all up with Modge Podge. I also painted a wooden bird house and glittered it as well which sits on top of the eggs. It's a cute fun center piece.

Happy Birthday Mom!
Ok...I have been a bad blogger. So to make up for it I not only have a post for you today, but I have 2 more scheduled for the coming week!
Today is my mom's birthday. This card was so much fun to make. I have to be honest, I wasn't understanding why so many people loved the Polka Dot Basics II from Papertrey Ink. We'll I've used it several times and I totally see the light! It is an awesome set and I highly recommend it.
I have used two of the different background strips in the Polka Dot Basics II in this card. I also used In Bloom and Mega Mixed Messages, all Papertrey Ink of course.
