Card Tag

I recently participated in a round of card tag host by Alicia. What fun! It starts with one card that is then passed to the next participant who pulls inspiration from it, creates their own card, which is then passsed to the next participant and so on. Be sure to check out Alicia's blog for the entire chain of cards.
Here's my card. I pulled inspiration from the layout, scalloped circles and the bird theme from the previous card. It was so fun!

Busy Bee

Since I had today off I made the most of the opportunity and stayed up late (insanely late) to craft. I whipped out all of my mother's day cards. So here it goes, this is a long post. This first card is for the Spring Fling Challenge over at Nichole's Blog. I got my inspiration from Lisa. I just LOVED the field of tulips. These colors were so fantastic together.

My latest creation

You know inspiration can come from anywhere. Last week I recieved a Vera Bradley catalog; why? I have no idea?!? The color combinations were simply stunning. I was sooo excited for the Paptrey Ink release this month because I couldn't wait to get my hands on Lauren Meaders new Timeless Template From the Desk of. These two things really do go together as I took my color inspiration from Vera Bradley and poured that into this desk set of custom cards for the silent auction at the school carnival last Friday.
This collection is called Bali gold.
The colors I used were Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet and Plum Pudding from Papertrey Ink.
Here's all the pieces - 10 cards, a set of 15 sentiment labels, pen and the From the Desk of holder. It turned out soooo beautiful. I used my Guidelines II stamp set. I am really in love with this set now.
The labels came from Nichole's post and I thought it was just genious! Here I used velcro instead to seal the package.
